Christmas collectibles are not a new idea. They have been around for many years, but what is new is the type of collectibles being purchased. Instead of making collectibles or spending money on objects that might last for decades, many families are buying plastic sets. While the Nativities are the most popular, the second in line is the Santa Claus scene. These scenes come complete with reindeer, elves, and his North Pole location.
